Synopsis

The book is devoted to the phenomenon of social responsibility, not only from the point of view of the traditionally applied concept of corporate social responsibility, but also newly emerging concepts such as the concept of university social responsibility and the concept of municipal social responsibility. The aim of this book is to provide comprehensive presentation of these three concepts in the context of their mutual interrelationship, to define their theoretical points of departure, to characterise alternative areas and activities, to explain effective practices in the socially responsible behaviour of companies, universities and municipalities, with an emphasis on modern trends and examples of good practice from the Czech Republic and Norway.
