The international scientific conference proceedings Interdisciplinary Approaches to Family Dispute Resolution present an interdisciplinary perspective on family disputes and the ways in which they can be addressed. The publication brings together knowledge and practical experience from law, mediation, psychology, social work, education, theology, and related disciplines. The individual contributions reflect current theoretical approaches, research findings, and experience from professional practice, focusing in particular on family and intercultural mediation, legislative aspects of mediation, the protection of children’s rights and vulnerable persons, the prevention of domestic violence, support for families in crisis situations, ethical and value-based dimensions of dispute resolution, and opportunities for effective interdisciplinary cooperation. Particular attention is paid to the importance of communication, dialogue, prevention, and conciliatory approaches in resolving conflicts. The proceedings were published as an outcome of the international scientific conference Interdisciplinary Approaches to Family Dispute Resolution, held in Křtiny near Brno on 19–22 March 2026, and as part of the KEGA project No. 033PU-4/2025.
